Recorders made by RIKEN-DENSHI In the article the author - member of the RIKENDENSHI brand service - introduces the recorders of this instrument’s factory, based on the technical data and performance, and the operating and servicing experiences. Rudolf Radnai: Measurements with logic analyzers (2.) Triggering of logic analyzers The practical use value of logic analyzers is essentially determined by the versatility of the trigger unit. In this part of our series of articles we are looking over the most important characteristics of triggering and familiarize through examples form practice the main modes of it. Jenő Kőfalvi: Ion cyclotron resonance mass spectometry with Fourier-transformation The paper discusses the exciting and detecting principles of the method that came into use hardly twenty years ago* the forming of spectrum lines, and deals with the problems of analog and digital signal resolution. After discussing the properties of signal/ noise ratio the author briefly reports on the efficiency of the method and on the applications, and, finally, mentions the equipments that have come into trade. Dr. Tamás POrubszky-Tibor Máté-Ferenc Mustó: Modern instruments for measuring the voltage on X-ray tubes During the developing, checking and servicing of X-ray equipments many parameters are to be measured. The most important parameter is the voltage of the X-ray tube. In the last two decades a number of instruments came into the market which are able to measure the exciting voltage without disconnecting the high-voltage circuit. The article familiarizes and analyzes these methods and instruments, comparing them with the conventional methods of measuring. Aurél Bohus—Péter Búzás—Sándor Kőhalmy-Zoltán Pápay-Ferenc Sarkadi: „Anamult” jUPHA-5 network analyzer-multimeter The microprocessor-based, with a menu-system controllable universal network analyzing instrument, introduced in this paper, has been developed in the Research Institute for Electric Industry (Villamosipari Kutató Intézet), Hungary. It is applicable both as a multimeter and an analyzer, and shows the value, the shape or the spectrum of the measured electric signal on a display. The instrument can be connected to a printer as well as to a computer. INSTRUMENTS AND MEASURING TECHNIQUES NEWS 46. 1989. CONTENTS
