These are the most recent varieties of conventional washing machines, having direct drives. The new models of the type series of automatic washing machines are pro­vided with novel washing processes owing to Incessant development work. The structural and controlling elements of the machines suitable for performing up-to-date washing programmes are also subject to continuous development. In factory management quality and production cost are in interaction and securing compatibility requires continually new methods. The paper reviews these methods as used at the Hajdúsági Iparművek, laying emphasis on the importance of planning, ensuring, managing and developing quality. The integrated quality management system, as adopted, its results and the technical control activities actuating the system are dealt with in detail. Sized boards or straps are produced on a CNC trimming line. Actuation of the trimming blades si­tuated vertical to one another, tasks of the infeed and stacking system are controlled by a computer Model Siemens. Recording the unfolded parts, the materials, optimation of trimming work are done by an addi­tion IBM computer. Görög, Mihály—Molnár, József: Automated system of final acceptance . 42 The publication expounds the equipment Model AVB—MA for final ac­ceptance, developed in co-operation by HIM—ATOMKI (Works Hajdú­sági Iparművek — Nuclear Research Institute), supported by OMFB (National Board for Technical Development), in service at the assembly of automatic washing machines. The paper contains description of the build-up, the operation and the fields of application of the equipment. Analysis of integration of the equipment so developed into the system, examination of the feasibilities and limits of continued development.
