Pannonhalmi, Zsuzsa (Budapest, 1949) Home/Studio: 2119 Pécel, Petfői u. 52. Tel.: Pécel 215 She started her professional studies under the direchon of Eszter Mattioni, Ilona Kiss Roóz and Ferenc Laborcz. She graduated from the College of Applied Arts (ceramics) as a student of Árpád Csekovszky. Until 1979 she worked as a designer for the Industrial Arts Company and since then she works as ceramist in her own studio at Pécel. She favours two areas of the art of ceramics: on the one hand the shaping of statutes, reliefs, wells joined with space determining architercture, and on the other hand fashioning the details close to people, and the designing and implementing of fine, porcelain objects (box, vase, plate, plastic art) fitting close to hand. In 1976-77 she participated in the program entitled „Ceramics in the Garden" at Siklós. Several times she worked as a scholar in the Kecskemét International Studio of Ceramics. She is a member of the Association of the Hungarian Artist and Industrial Designers, the Society of the Hungarian Ceramists and the Foundation of Arts, then the MAOE.
