Transsylvania Nostra, 2013 (Anul 7, nr. 1-4)
2013-02-01 / nr. 1
■ There is no doubt that Transsylvania Nostra Journal still keeps its unique character after six years of existence through the wide range of topics it treats and the linguistic variety of its articles. This is testified by the appreciative letter about the decision of indexing the journal in SCOPUS international database, received by the editorial office at the beginning of this year. Beside drawing attention on the fact that there is still a lot of work in front of us, the letter speaks in flattering terms about the journal: ‘this is a significant and fascinating journal with an impressive review policy. These appreciative words let us believe that the work in these last six years was not useless and that we are on the right track towards reaching the goals we have defined. Thus we are glad to announce our readers and our future authors that our effort to keep a high-level scientific journal was scored as B category by the National Council for Scientific Research (CNCS)1 2. According to the new methodology of the CNCS established in 2011 for classifying the publishers and journals in the field of human sciences, the Transsylvania Nostra Journal is one of the three accredited scientific journals in Romania, that were granted with B category. Accreditation in Romania is important mainly for professors, PhD students and researchers who participate in competitions, because according to the new educational system, only research results which were published in accredited journals are valuable. We shall keep up the work we have already started, including the project of making articles accessible on the Internet (with or without fee), offering in this way the opportunity of better dissemination of the research results. Enikő TAKÁCS Editorial General Secretary 1 Excerpt from the letter sent by the Content Selection and Advisory Board of SCOPUS on January 7, 2013. 2 Consiliul Naţional al Cercetării Ştiinţifice (CNCS) (National Council for Scientific Research) [ed. note], http://www.cncsnrc.ro/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/arh. rev_28.01.2013.pdf. Enikő TAKÁCS Secretar general de redacţie 1 „This is a significant and fascinating journal with an impressive review policy.” A CNCS 2011-ben a humán tudományok területén tevékenykedő kiadók és folyóiratok rangsorolásában újonnan kidolgozott módszere értelmében, a Transsylvania Nostra műemlékvédelmi folyóirat egyike lett azon három, Romániában jelen pillanatban akkreditációval rendelkező tudományos folyóiratnak, amelyet B kategóriával minősítettek.
