Continued from p.2 Recently, American historians, sociologists and anthropologists have taken a second look at the so-called Melting Pot theory, and have discovered that North America, after generations, still remains more or less separated along ethnic lines. But the examination of social scientists in this field has just begun. They are quite aware, that to prove or modify the statement about the strong impact of ethnic heritage, more detailed and systematic investigations are needed.
