Articles appearing in the newsletter may be copied only with the permission of the publisher and if the source, publisher's name and address, furthermore the writer's name are cited. **************************************************** The American-Hungarian Folklore Centrum was established for the chief purpose of disseminating Hungarian folk culture within the scholarly and public life of America. **************************************************** Editor: Judith Magyar **************************************************** Assistant Editor: Cathie Springer **************************************************** Members of the DÉLIBAB Folk Music Ensemble Q from Debrecen, Hungary, are currently on a ,, performing tour in the United States and Canada, y The group is being received everywhere with a lot _ of enthusiasm and appreciation not only for its artistry but also for the manner in which it conveys Hungarian folk dance and folk music to its audience. Touring and performing with DÉLIBÁB are Erika Rigó and Gyula Hajas, two dancers in the JAfSZSAfc Folk Ensemble of Jászberény. They also attend to the tasks of teaching choreographies to performing groups, leading workshops and Táncház-es. Also appearing with the group from time to time, are leading folk dancers living in the United States, Susie and Stephen Kotansky, Ilona Hadházy, László Kürti, Judith and Kálmán Magyar. DÉLIBAb Ensemble and the American-Hungariap Folklore Centrum would like to express their gratitude to all of those who contributed to organizing and staging the events in this tour.
