A Makrogomba Gyűjtemény rendszeresen kutatott részének (Agaricales, Boletales, Russulales, Gasteromycetes) adataiból számítógépes adatbázis készült. Az adatbázis mezői: a herbáriumi példányok rendszertani adatai (nemzetség, faj) gyűjtési adatai (gyűjtő, gyűjtőhely, ország, UTM rácskód, a gyűjtés ideje), esetenként cönológiai információk és spóraméret adatok is. Néhány példát láthatunk az adatbázisból visszakereshető' adatok bemutatására (elterjedési térképek, statisztikai ábrák), különös tekintettel a Cortinarius nemzetségre. Az adatbázis magyar és angol nyelven érhető el két helyen : a Növénytárban IBM PC kompatibilis számítógépen és a nemzetközi X25 és Internet számítógéphálózaton (IP cím: hubiifll.bitnet; login: guestl, jelszó: brsl). Jelenlegi mérete kereken 20000 rekord. The on-line database of the Collection of Macroscopic Fungi in the Hungarian Natural History Museum The Collection of Macroscopic Fungi in the Hungarian Natural History Museum is the biggest herbarium of this type in Hungary. The regularly studied part of this collection (Agaricales, Boletales, Russulales, Gasteromycetes) has been computerized. The fields of the database cover the following information on the herbarium specimens: taxonomical data (genus, species), collection data (collector, place and data of collection, state, UTM grid reference) and in some cases other data as well (sociological information, size of spores). Examples are given to demonstrate the versatility and the usefulness of the database (such as distribution maps and statistical charts) with special regard to the genus Cortinarius. The database is available in the Botanical Department at the Hungarian Natural History Museum on IBM compatible PC or on a mainframe via the Internet (IP adress: hubiifll.bitnet; login: guestl, password: brsl). The database contains cca. 20000 records.
