Interesting news The CA-board thought long and hard about how to move on. It is with great excitement that we can announce some major changes. ACADEMY MODULES: a total new approach The EU signed with CA an agreement to set up an EUROPEAN ACADEMY FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS This great honour is the recognition for many years of hard work, research, contributions from many artists and member-organizations and understanding the daily struggles of artists at the 'labour-market'. Based on all those insights a whole series of 'academy-modules' have been developed. At CA-2003 appr.60 of those modules will be launched. If you do these modules, you will get even a CERTIFICATE. Besides those NEW modules, you will find a list of many workshops you can do. This unique academy will concentrate on post-academic help. So the skills and knowledge you need for work/orders/opportunities will be concentrated in short modules. All those modules will finally support you in a 'life-long-learning' program. And if this academy has not the module to meet your needs]you ask for that special module. As the academy is based on a network of over 1000 professional teachers, specialists, arts-groups, etc., you can expect an answer to your problem. This ongoing adulteducation is the answer to function better in a fast changing world. Talented persons CA is not for everybody, because CA is espeşi'âily designed for talented people who want to develop their talents. It is for young people as well - there will be special stimulating meetings for this 'new wave' of artists. There wilt be MASTER-CLASSES to mature skills.
