Special thank to Mrs. R. Hobor (applause), ex-manager Mr. K. Nagy and manager Mr. B. Cseh, Mr. J. Friss for his effortson the building (applause) Mr. J. Herendi - Ertesitő and matriculation class, sen. vice president and secretary Mr. S. Farkas, Mr. I. Jakab for membership and cultural шогк, Mr. Zs. Csejthey and his wife Ma­rika for their шогк on cultural matters, Mr. S. Nemeth in the bar, Mr. □. Szuek in the bar as ше11 as organising the billiard competitions, Mr. D. Sokvari for the free material donated touards our building extensions as well as providing enter­tainment on his piano-accordion for our members and visitors, Mr. J. Garamy for the advices as President of the Ethnic Communities Council, as uell as teaching matriculation classes and being the President of the Hungarian Community Radio, all the teachers, the group of ladies who help at the Christmas Fair, in fact all, u/ho through voluntary шогк helped to improve our Club during the past year. The Committee uill пош resign in order to make шау to elect committee for 1987. The president asked Mr. E. von muenster to chair the election. Mr. E. von Muenster moved that the committee be thanked for its шогк during the year and uished all the best to Mr. I. Berekally uho has been the President of the Club for the past ten years. Motion seconded by Mr. Gy. Bödó, carried. Mr. E. von Muenster also announced that after being the Public Officer of the Club for ten years, Mr. J. Csortan пош relinquished the position and Mr. S. Farkas is taking over these duties. Life Membership. Started ten years ago, the privilege of free admission to Club events have expired as from the 31st of December 1986. Membership is free for life and ше hope that the пеш committee uill erect the Life Member's board in 1987. Election of пеш committee: President - Mr. I. Berekally only nomination, elected automatically; Senior vice-president: Mr. S. Farkas; Jubior vice-president: Mr. F. Laczina; Manager: Mr. B. Cseh; Treasurer: Mr. J. Kelemen: Secretary: Mr. S. Farkas; all elected unopposed. Committee Members: Messrs. M. Baratosy, J. Bartos, Zs. Csejthey, L. Farkas, J. Friss, J. Garamy, Gy. Galik, L. Hanák, J. Herendi, Mrs. R. Hobor, Messrs. I. Jakab, S. Jenei, L. Miklósik, M. Molna’r, Dr. K. Nagy, Mr. K. Nagy, Mrs. M. Nagy (Magdi neVii), Messrs. S. Na’dasky, S. Nemeth, K. Nyiri, Mrs. E. O'Brien, Messrs. L. Szegedi, 0. Szuek, A. Ugody and. Mrs D. Ujházy - all elected automatically. Auditor: moved by Mr. E von Muenster, seconded by Mr. J. Kelemen that Ms. K. Toth be elected as auditor for 1987, motion carried. The President thanked the chairman and the A.G.M. for the trust in hii by re-elect­ing him as President. He outlined the objectives and goals for 1987: This uill be a very busy year as after 12 years the 7th Convention uill be held in Adelaide. As at the 3-rd Conven­tion, our Club шШ again be in the centre of activities. The Committee undertakes full support and is committed to ensure that it uill be a success. Шогк has alre­ady begun uithin the Council of Hungarian Associations and this uill accelerate as time draus closer to the Convention. As mentioned by the Chairman, the privileges (free entrance to Club events) expi­red on the 31st of December. Ше suggest that as a gesture, the next May Ball should be the last one to enjoy free admission. The neu committee is requested to attend the committee meeting on the 17th of March. All are reminded that the scouts are holding their Szüreti Mulatság on the 1st of March. The 15th of March Celebration programme uill be organised by the Youth Group of the M.H.B.K. 3
