Design Index '96 Hungary (Budapest, 1996)
IPARI FORMATERVEZÉSI NÍVÓDÍJ és IPARI FORMATERVEZÉSI MINISZTERELNÖKI KÜLÖNDIJ AWARD for INDUSTRIAL DESIGN and SPECIAL PRIME MINISTER AWARD for INDUSTRIAL OUTSTANDING DESIGN KÖSZÖNTŐ Magyarországon a piacgazdaság gyors kiépülésével párhuzamosan a design szerepe felértékelődött. Az új termékek fejlesztése során a kedvező műszaki paraméterek biztosítása, valamint az ember- és környezetbarát megoldások mellett előtérbe került a vevőnek kínált előnyök hangsúlyozása, a fogyasztói vonzerő növelése, a kereskedelmi megjelenés érdemi javítása. A termékek piacképességének javítása érdekében egyre gyakoribbá vált az olyan „műhelymunka ’, melynek során a terméktervező, technológus, ergonómus, ipari formatervező és termékmenedzser egyeztetett koncepciója eredményeként jönnek létre a nemzetközi piacon versenyképes termékek, termékcsaládok. A Design Index ‘96 a magyar ipari formatervezési kultúra jeles képviselőinek legújabb fejlesztési eredményeit ismerteti. A bemutatott fotók jól szemléltetik, hogy gazdaságunkban a termelési szerkezet néhány esztendő leforgása alatt nagy változáson, fejlődésen ment át. A nagyvállalatok, a kis- és középvállalkozások, valamint az egyéni vállalkozók egyaránt nagy figyelmet fordítanak az ipari formatervezésre, időben igazodnak a nemzetközi trendekhez, irányzatokhoz, amit eredeti ötletekkel, megoldásokkal tesznek színesebbé, változatosabbá. E kiadvány az 1996. évi ipari formatervezési pályázat legsikeresebb termékeinek bemutatásával utal a magyar ipar teljesítőképességére, képet ad a hazai szakembergárda innovációs képességéről, alkotóerejéről. A Design Index ‘96-ot a figyelmébe ajánlom a gazdasági élet valamennyi külföldi és hazai szereplőjének, aki kapcsolatai kiépítésére vagy bővítésére törekszik hazánkkal, elsősorban pedig c kiadvány szereplőivel. PREFACE Parallel to the fast establishment of the market economy in Hungary the role of design has been upgraded. In the course of the development of new products, besides ensuring favourable technical parameters and philanthropic and environment friendly solutions it has become conspicuous to emphasise the advantages offered to customers, to increase customer attraction, to improve substantially the commercial appearance. For the sake of the improvement of the products’ marketability it became more and more frequent to have „workshops”, where internationally competitive products and product families arc created as a result of die harmonised concepts of the designer, technologist, ergonomist, industrial designer, and the product manager. The Design Index ‘96 outlines the latest development results of the prominent representatives of the Hungarian industrial design culture. The included photos illustrate well that in our economy the production structure has gone over significant changes and improvement in the course of a few years. Large enterprises, small and middle sized companies, as well as individual entrepreneurs lay significant emphasis on industrial design, comply with the international trends and tendencies in time which are made more colourful and variegated by them with original ideas and solutions. This publication with the demonstration of the most successful products of the industrial design competition of the year 1996 refers to the productive capacity of the Hungarian industry, as well as highlights the innovative capability and creativity of the domestic experts. I recommend the Design Index ‘96 to all the foreign and domestic players of the economic life, who make endeavours to form or extend their connections with our country, and first of all with the role players of this publication.
