He was accepted immedi­ately to the second grade at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He studied at the Academy under the guidance of János Vajda. His first CD was published in 1993 accompanied by an opening con­cert. After receiving his degree he studied at the Academy of Music in Vienna at a post-graduate course in the class of Erich Urbanner. He participated successfully at several international and Hungarian competitions and courses. He won a prize at the summer music academy in Vienna in 1995, and was a prize winner of the composers' com­petition on the occasion of the International Monteverdi Choirs' Festival in 1996. Won the 3rd Prize at the "In memóriám Zoltán Kodály" International Composing Competition in 1997. Among his works there are oratorios, masses, can­tatas, piano concertos and several chamber pieces.
