NEW IDEAS in MEDALLIC SCULPTURE NEW IDEAS in MEDALLIC SCULPTURE NEW IDEAS In MEDALLIC SCULPTURE NEW IDEAS U The Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa in the pursuit, and committed to one of its most important purposes, cultural exchanges, receives with pride and satisfaction, due to the efforts of the new created "Centro de Estudos e Investigaçâo Volte Face Medalha Contemporânea" (Centre for Studying and Investigation of Contemporary Medals), the exhibition "New Ideas in Medallic Sculpture", presenting works by the alumni and current students from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, United States of America. The opening occurs during the Art Medal World Congress FIDEM XXIX 2004, that takes place in Seixal. Professor Auxiliär Joäo Duarte Director of Centro de Estudos e Investigaçâo Volte Face Medalha Contemporânea A Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa no seguimento de urn dos seus mais importantes objectivos os intercâmbios culturais recebe, com prazer e satisfaçào, a exposiçâo New Ideas in Medallic Scculpture, que apresenta trabalhos de antigos e actuais alunos da University of the Arts, de Filadélfia, EUA, graças ao empenho do récém criado "Centro de Estudos e Investigaçâo Volte Face Medalha Contemporânea". A inauguraçâo terá lugar no decorrer do Congresso Mundial de Medalhistica FIDEM XXIX, que se realizará no Seixal.
